Aubrey loves playing fantasy action video games. Like his favorite video game hero Zelda, Aubrey discovered his courage as he faced many difficulties during his treatment. Thankfully, things are improving. Aubrey is in the second part of general maintenance. Right by his side are his older sister Lucy and supportive parents, Valerie and Aubrey.
Aubrey said his mom is his hero. Valerie said Aubrey is the real hero. “He inspires everyone in the family to be brave. If he can do this, we can too.”
Valerie is so grateful Connor’s Heroes supported the family when Aubrey started treatment. “From care packages, evenings out for mom, Walmart gift cards, and Erin’s supportive phone calls to check in, Connor’s Heroes has been with us the whole way.”
