Connor’s Heroes hosted a family event for the first time at Young Chefs Academy. Young Chefs Academy introduces cooking with culinary classes designed for kids making kid-friendly foods. Our heroes and their families cooked up a delicious dessert of chocolate lava cake with whip cream and strawberries.

April 2019 Art Session
This was our last heroes art session before the 9th Annual Heroes Art Ball. Our kids were busy putting the finishing touches on their heroes art.
Birthday Cards
CHF staff surprises every hero, in active treatment, on their birthday. Inside their card, is always a gift certificate for a birthday treat. Our Amazon Wish List has a list of gift cards most requested by our childhood cancer heroes.
Introducing Family Fun Packs
Our Family Fun Packs are a new outreach program. In this mailing box is everything a family needs for a family game night or a family movie night. It is filled with family board games, gift cards for Netflix and pizza and plenty of snacks and popcorn. All items are donated by our caring community of heroes. Connor's Heroes Foundation and our presenting Art Ball sponsor, Virginia Business Systems, partnered with our friends at Three Notch'd RVA Collab House for the release of a peach Berliner Weisse named A Heroes HeART! Three Notch'd will donate $1 to Connor's Heroes for every pint of A Heroes HeART sold at our Happy Hour event.
Helping Hero: St. Christopher and St. Catherine 8th Grade
They put together close to 40 Family Fun Packs for our hero families! Too often, treatment prevents many childhood cancer heroes from being able to leave their home.
