Last week was the first meeting of Connor's Heroes new Programs Committee. Programs like our Heroes Bags and Backpacks and Superheroes and Sidekicks are offered to our families who register with Connor's Heroes. As I looked around the room, I loved seeing all of the Hero Moms and Dads sitting with our board members. Who better than the parents of children with cancer to advise us on the best ways we can directly help our Hero families? One mom, Chrissy, posted in Facebook: “I am thankful for my Connor's Heroes family and… for each and every one of those fellow Cancer Fighting Mammas in that room… They are are such a blessing and encouragement to me.” Fran, Erin, and I look forward to working with this great group of parents.
