Ruby is the kid who sees the world as a blank canvas, waiting to be filled with color. She’s an artist and an adventurer. Whether she’s rock climbing or painting her next masterpiece, Ruby won’t let fear hold her back.
During her 113-day hospital stay, Ruby found comfort in art. Jillian, Connor’s Heroes Program Director, made sure she had plenty to do — art projects, crafts kits, and sticker books — anything to help her creativity shine while in the hospital. What meant a lot to Ruby was the connection she made with Jillian during her many visits to the hospital.
Once she was home, Ruby became a frequent flyer at the Heroes Art Sessions. Artists loved working with Ruby because she is so talented!
