Mark
Mark (14 years old) was diagnosed with Stage 3 Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (NHL) in the fall of 2015. He underwent chemotherapy immediately. After five months of treatment, he was declared cancer-free! According to National Cancer Institute, the survival rate of NHL has doubled over the last 35 years. Mark is focused on staying strong so he can play sports again. Mark attends The Steward School. His dream is to study aeronautical engineering at the Air Force Academy. At the Hero Art Sessions, he and our other teenage heroes are role models to the younger children.
