Kieran

Kieran, was diagnosed with Stage IV High Risk Neuroblastoma in February 2007 when he was 3 years old. He was given a 20% chance to survive 5 years and we were told there is no cure. He has endured high dose chemotherapy, a stem cell transplant, 3F8 Antibody therapy, a benign brain tumor, and a lung infection that placed him on life support for 23 days. Now, Kieran has no evidence of disease! He travels to Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York City every 3 months to undergo countless scans and tests, but he never complains. Kieran is our hero and he has been an inspiration to many people. Kieran’s diagnosis has taught us so much as a family and we don’t take one second for granted.
