Joshua loves chasing his dog and big brother Christopher. His mom and dad, Rebecca and Jonathan, wouldn’t be surprised if Joshua grows up to be a wrestler. He is that tough.
As tough as Joshua was during his six months of weekly chemotherapy, he was a tender, snuggle bug with two special people in his life: his Nana and Pappy. They were there for every chemo appointment, holding Joshua’s hand, loving him through the ups and downs.
Rebecca said: “I never imagined we would receive so much support from Connor’s Heroes. The gift cards for food and gas helped us during the months when I missed work to take care of Joshua. Joshua’s favorite thing was the iPad in his Heroes Backpack! It distracted him and kept him happy during every uncomfortable test or procedure.”
The family has a lot to celebrate. Joshua is officially in remission and mom is expecting a baby in October!
