Allison

Allison was diagnosed with Lymphoma in June 2010 just a few weeks before her 15th birthday. After four months of chemotherapy treatments she was declared cancer free, but just three months later the cancer returned in January 2011. This was followed by four months of more intense chemotherapy treatments, surgery, and a stem cell transplant. In total she spent over 100 days in the hospital. Allison has now been cancer free since October 2011. Throughout this ordeal, Allison has kept up good grades and is preparing to apply to colleges in the fall. Allison is now beginning to pay it forward by volunteering with Connor’s Heroes and becoming a Sidekick to a young boy with cancer.
