Savanna is a nine-year-old who is in the process of a bone marrow transplant.  Her amazing brother, Asher, served as her donor! This is not an easy procedure. Some patients stay in the hospital for 100 days. Lots of doctors come in and out; visitors drop by; many tests are run daily; medicines are prescribed, and side effects are numerous.To help families through the transplant process, Connor’s Heroes created a Care Journal. Much like the baby journal you probably kept for your child’s first year, this journal has a page for each day in the bone marrow transplant process to record the ups and downs and milestones of this life alterning experience.
