The highlight of the Heroes Art Ball is our live auction of paintings created by our patients. The kids walk on stage and present their works of art. Sometimes the bidding goes into the thousands!  Look how nice these paintings look in the cottage of long-time Heroes Art Ball supporters, Ted and Mary Linhart. Phineas and Ferb, along with the Toy Story painting were created by Anna, 14-years-old and auctioned at the 2012 and 2013 Heroes Art Ball.  Anna was diagnosed with leukemia in 2008.  Unfortunately, she relapsed in 2011 and underwent a stem cell transplant.  Anna was thriving for about 18 months, but sadly has relapsed again.  Even amidst her struggles, Anna is eager to create another masterpiece for this year's Ball!   Every time the Linhart family looks at their paintings, they think of Anna and her family. It is a simple gesture that means so much to our hero families.
