Valentine’s Day Smiles for Kids in the Hospital
Our hearts were full after delivering Valentine’s Day Fun Packs to the childhood cancer hero families in the hospital. This special hospital delivery happened thanks to SingleStone Consulting. SingleStone Consulting spent their day of service with Connor’s Heroes. With guidance from Dayna, Community Engagement Manager, they funded 25 gift bags. They filled each one with heart pillows, room decorations, candy, books, and Valentine’s Day crafts. Jillian, Program Director, delivered a gift bag to each childhood cancer hero in the hospital. The bags were the perfect distraction when in the hospital.
Peyton’s mom shared an adorable picture of Peyton snuggling her new pink pillow.
Emerson’s mom beautifully expressed her gratitude for her son’s surprise delivery:
”While Emerson was napping this morning, he received a special visit from Connor’s Heroes Foundation. Thoughtful packages may seem small, but they bring huge smiles and much-needed light to children who could really use a pick-me-up on hard days.”
