Caroline is more than Elizabeth and Wes’s middle child. Tucked between Peyton and Madeline, Caroline is the nucleus of her loving family. Her name is of French origin, meaning “strong.” Caroline will try anything like baton twirling, horseback riding, archery, dance, and rock climbing. She taught herself sewing, gymnastics, and how to play the ukulele!
Elizabeth said, “In the cancer world, asking for help is so hard. I loved when a Connor’s Heroes Family Fun Pack or gift card just showed up. Erin was an absolute joy during hospitalizations. The Panera gift cards she gave us were extremely helpful. All Caroline wanted was green smoothies and breakfast sandwiches from Panera.”
Be warned, if you sing “Sweet Caroline,” Elizabeth says you will get a serious eye roll (but she dares you to “sing it anyway” to Caroline)!
