Javi’s favorite sound is the blare of a police car or fire truck speeding past. Javi wants to be a first responder when he grows up. In the cancer world, doctors call Javi a RAPID responder. Doctors expected his chemo to last six months. But, his body fought hard and responded so well to the chemo that his last PET scan showed “no evidence of active disease” sooner than expected. Smashing cancer – now that’s a cool superpower!
Javi is four years old and diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma. He has a brother named Alex who joins Javi at our Heroes Art Sessions.
