Hero Squad Exceeds Goal
Congratulations to the 2026 Hero Squad. During September’s Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, each member took on the challenge of raising $1,000. With an overall goal of raising $30,000.
Challenge accepted… and challenge exceeded! The Hero Squad raised over $43,000.
Congrats to Tammy Coleman who was the top fundraiser. Tammy was introduced to Connor’s Heroes when she came to the office for a day of service with her employer, Dominion. Tammy was so inspired by Connor’s Heroes mission, she jumped right in and joined the Hero Squad.
We celebrated the crew at our BBQ Bash at ZZQ. Michaela Howard thanked her fellow Hero Squad members for caring about kids with cancer, like her son Henry. Everyone enjoyed the live music from The Hot Seats, the best brisket in town, along with the nicest people.

As a member of the Hero Squad, you commit to raise $1,000 for children with cancer in September for September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
